In an interview with the Financial Times, HTC CEO Zhou Yongming said recently that HTC will not acquire mobile operating systems in the future, but may conduct content provider mergers and acquisitions. The direction of current Microsoft Google system licensing will not change.

Earlier, it was reported that HTC intends to get rid of its dependence on Google's Android system and is preparing to acquire HP WebOS. However, HTC chairman Wang Xuehong said that he will not rush into action. This time, Zhou Yongming emphasized that after careful consideration by the entire HTC, it still decided to go in the direction of Google Android and Microsoft Windows Phone.
