“Intensified collection system construction and practical application will reach a new level – As one of the seven marketing tasks and 10 key tasks identified by Heilongjiang Electric Power Company in 2012, the focus of electricity collection is to achieve full coverage of the acquisition. We will use the collection system to enhance the marketing modernization management level, strengthen the quality supervision of the smart energy meter, and make the system function practical to realize a leap.” On February 20, Xu Wei, Director of the Measurement Management Department of the Marketing Department of Heilongjiang Electric Power Company disclosed.

It is understood that in 2011 Heilongjiang Electric Power Co., Ltd. accelerated the construction of power collection systems and took the lead in passing the acceptance check of the National Grid, becoming the only provincial company in the country that has passed the overall acceptance of the national power grid system. In 2011, 699,000 smart energy meters were promoted and applied in Heilongjiang Province to ensure that the company’s acquisition coverage rate continues to lead the national grid system. By the end of 2011, the collection system had 5 million electric energy meters online, 49,000 data acquisition terminals, 99.9% basic data consistency, 97% daily meter reading success rate, and 94% coverage in the province.
