On January 15, 2008, the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision hosted a review meeting of the Beijing local standard “Technical Requirements for Solar Photovoltaic Outdoor Lighting Installationsâ€, which was prepared by the Beijing Lighting Society. The Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and the Beijing Municipal Agriculture Commission and other departments attended the meeting. The review team established an expert review team. The expert group listened to the standard preparation work report, and carefully reviewed and fully discussed the standard content one by one in combination with relevant materials (submission drafts, feedback processing forms, and preparation instructions).
The expert group believes that Beijing local standard "Technical Requirements for Solar Photovoltaic Outdoor Lighting Devices" meets the national energy conservation and emission reduction energy policy and sustainable development requirements, and provides reliable technical guarantee for standardizing and guiding the production and installation of solar photovoltaic outdoor lighting devices. It is of great significance for environmental protection, new rural construction and the promotion and application of solar photovoltaic outdoor lighting devices in Beijing and even the whole country. The standard content, structure and indicators are rigorous, reasonable and applicable, scientific, advanced and operable, which fills the blank of the domestic solar photovoltaic outdoor lighting equipment technical standards.
The expert group unanimously agreed that the Beijing local standard "Technical Requirements for Solar Photovoltaic Outdoor Lighting Devices" passed the review.
According to the specific opinions put forward by the expert group, the drafting unit recommended that the draft of the “Technical Requirements for Solar Photovoltaic Outdoor Lighting Installations†be revised to the approval draft and submitted to the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision for approval and release.
