On March 8, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the second batch of "Recommended Car Models for Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles" in 2018. A total of 51 models of 28 companies were selected.
From the perspective of power type, it includes 45 models of pure electric vehicles, 5 plug-in hybrid models, and 1 fuel cell model.
In terms of vehicle type, it includes 10 passenger cars, 27 passenger cars and 14 special vehicles.
From the perspective of selected companies, Jinlong Motors, BYD, and Beiqi Foton ranked in the top three. Jinlong Motors has 9 models selected, BYD has 5 models selected, and Beiqi Foton has 5 models selected.
It is worth noting that BYD's five models include a passenger car, a special car and three passenger cars, and their Battery systems all have an energy density of 140 Wh/kg or more.
