1, Blu-ray Disc Alliance authorized new "ultra-high-definition Blu-ray DVD" standard
The Blu-ray Disc Association ("BDA") announced today that it will begin licensing the new "Ultra HD Blu-ray" standard on August 24 this year.
In May of this year, BDA officially released the Ultra HD Blu-ray/4K standard specification. Ultra HD Blu-ray video compression will use the H.265/HEVC high-efficiency video coding format with a resolution of 3840 x and a frame rate of 60 FPS.
Ultra HD Blu-ray adopts new specifications of discs, which are double-layer 66GB and three-layer 100GB. In contrast, the current Blu-ray DVD dual-layer disc capacity is only 50GB, and the three-layer BDXL is 100GB.
2, WeChat red envelope or will be taxed
