The calculator chip contains keyboard decoding and keyboard debounce circuitry, as well as all clock generators and timing pulse generators. The segments of the LED can be driven directly without the need for multiplex technology. The seventh position can be used as a six-digit negative sign as well as an error indicator. Includes leading and post zero suppression.
