2. Insulated wire

It is made of different kinds of insulating materials wrapped on the surface of bare wires. According to the use and the structure of the wire, it can be divided into fixed laying insulated wire; insulated soft wire, installing wire; outdoor insulated wire; agricultural insulating plastic sheath wire.

3. Power cable

According to the insulation material, it can be divided into oil-impregnated paper insulation, plastic insulation, rubber insulation and gas insulation.

(3) Control wire and cable

Control cables are commonly used in electrical control systems and power distribution units for fixed installation. In general control circuit, the load interruption current is not large, so the core wire cross section is small, usually below 10mm2, and the control cable core mostly uses copper conductor.

According to the material of its insulation layer, it is divided into polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride and rubber. Among them, the electrical properties of polyethylene are the best, and can also be applied to high-frequency lines. The insulation core of the control cable is mainly concentrically twisted, and some of the control cables are twisted. The long-term allowable operating temperature of the control cable core is 65 °C.

Second, the insulation material

In electromechanical engineering, a wide variety of commonly used insulating materials.

1. According to its physical state, it can be divided into gas insulating materials, liquid insulating materials and solid insulating materials.

2. According to its chemical properties, it can be divided into inorganic insulating materials, organic insulating materials and mixed insulating materials.
