It feels lighter than a mobile phone and feels more comfortable. I am more used to bare metal, much lighter than a leather case. Left and right page flip keys. Hold the machine in the right hand, and the thumb just touches the lower part of the page-turning key. The sense of pressing on the right does not have the crispness on the left and it feels boring.
Similar to some Android phones, there is a Home button directly underneath, which is used to return to the main interface and turn on/off the reading light.
When connected to a computer, the red indicator lights up. Then, the machine automatically turns on.

This is the main interface. It's also a few pages that I've seen in the past. 3 menus: Bookshelf, Bookstore, Mine.
The bookshelf shows the local books you bought, read, or imported into USB. One screen six. The top left corner of each book in the book list shows the source of the book, such as read, local. The lower right corner shows how much (%) you completed, which is the same as cowpea.
There are 4 icons side by side in the upper right corner of the bookshelf interface. They are cloud bookshelf, delete books, search books, and display bookshelf lists.
The cloud bookshelf includes purchased books and free reading books. The difference between buying and reading is that if you download a book with a smooth reading, you will not be able to continue using the book after the expiration date. And for purchased books, you have permanent ownership. Most books support reading, but not all.
The pencil icon is a book deletion function.
My current bookshelf has 8 pages. It is against humanity to search for pages one by one. This time you need to use the search function.
In addition to searching, you can sort by recent reading, adding time, reading a book and reading other. Unfortunately, the folder management function has not yet been implemented.

The time is displayed in the lower left corner of the reading interface. The right side is the page number. I don't know if you will feel this way. When you are in transportation, you know that even though you know the next few stations, you will use the mobile phone and watch to watch the time from time to time. When reading a book with JDRead, it is clear what time it is. This makes me very comfortable. It is hoped that the remaining reading time can be estimated later.
Zooming in, there is almost no blur and it is refreshed.
Click on the center of the screen to set the font format, view bookmarks, notes, etc. The icon in the top left corner is the touch screen button.
After closing, the touch screen will not respond and can only rely on physical buttons on the left and right sides of the machine to turn pages. I usually turn off the touchscreen so that I don't get infrequent touches.
The reading light setting is the second brightness icon in the upper row. The following figure shows the state of the front light.

The light is soft, not the kind of pale, but it is as yellow as a paper book . In my opinion this is TA's advantage.
"The higher the whiteness, the better." Many people think so. The pure white background does give a sense of freshness, but goose, for one, it loses the sense of the picture of the paper book; Second, the visual comfort is discounted.

You can add bookmarks to important, enlightening passages.
If you want to see all the bookmarks in this book, bring up the directory icon, then the directories, bookmarks, and annotations appear. The middle bookmark shows the first three lines of the corresponding page number content.
Select a piece of text on the screen, followed by copy, comment, book extract, and dictionary.
Annotation, or reading notes.
After you have completed your comments, touch the marked section to see your notes. If you want to focus on reading all the notes, click on the directory icon. The third column is "annotated".
Delete notes and bookmarks are also operated in the directory menu.
Tap the center of the screen to bring up the font settings. Built-in 5 fonts.
Here I only demonstrate the effect of English fonts.
Among them, Fang Zhenglan Ting Black is the most ferocious. In contrast to English, Founder Inspiring Song (presented with Times New Roman) and Founder Yan Black (this type of font looks a little naughty and easier).
Also on the Font Settings screen, you can adjust the margins. Personally think that the greater the margins on both sides, the better the visual experience. Just like many people now do the public number, in order to aesthetics, but also the pursuit of left and right typesetting, such as smashing a cat, such as Omnipotent uncle.
You feel the following two figures. The margins in the figure above can be ignored, while the margins in the figure below are the largest. Line spacing does not change.
The page setting function is very convenient. Under normal circumstances, the machine defaults to the first setting, press the entity button on the left, up; right down. If you often use your left hand to turn the page, you can set the left and right page turning keys to down, or the left button down, and the right button up.
In the end, whether or not an electronic paper book has physical keys for page turning is a question that does not have a standard answer.
The last icon below is the flip mode setting. You can set automatic page turning. Reading books while eating, grabbing chicken drumsticks in one hand and holding beer in one hand, automatic page turning is very useful at this time. This functional brain hole is open enough, haha.
Here to mention, regardless of the interface, touch the Home button seconds back to the main interface, this is slightly more convenient than cowpea.
Bookstore interface.
The shopping experience of bookstore shopping on electronic paper books is really not good. In view of the characteristics of the ink screen, a global refresh is performed when turning pages. In the eyes of people who are not familiar with electronic paper books, the so-called “flicker screen†is a case in point. This is particularly evident in the pictures, and the speed of the electronic paper book does not reach the speed of the current quad-core CPU smart phones. Therefore, individuals recommend a small tip: also download a Jingdong reading on the phone, buy books through the phone. When you open JDRead again, the new book will lie on your shelf. Synchronize JDread to networking.
If you support smooth reading, the words "Clean v" will appear on the book introduction page. If this is not supported, the block is blank. The smooth reading is Jingdong's reading service, similar to Amazon's Unlimited e-book monthly service.
The factory gifted a smooth reading of the card, and can read 1000 books in one year. With this card, it does not mean that you can read all the books in the book city free of charge, and you are limited to books with a read logo.
From the point of view of service guidance, Amazon wants to be more thoughtful, and can easily find Unlimited links in the category of goods. All of them are recommended to readers, or new books that can be read on a monthly basis; Jingdong's reading There is no specific category for you to choose from. Even if you click on the "Reading" on the APP, you will find that the open page is selling you a smooth reading card. To read a book that reads smoothly, I had to go into luck to know if I was reading a book. Fortunately, most of the books I have read favor reading.
However, reading many books does not mean that we should not improve this aspect. Jingdong reading PM, ah, you can read on the thumbnails of books that support smooth reading "cheap reading"? Just like Amazon will indicate Unlimited on some monthly books; and create a dedicated free reading book link in the category. In this way, the user does not need to look into the special place to see whether it supports the smooth reading.
"My" interface, its content and mobile software interface are similar. Ability to view books you have read, books you have purchased, and books you read. The contents of APP and JDRead are synchronized.

Wi-Fi connection is fast, about 5 seconds.
The page refreshes, I choose a 10-page brush and I don't feel any noticeable abnormality when reading.
The lock screen time and the automatic shutdown time are set so that the player can continue to run longer. The reader does not have a built-in Hall sensor. If you do not sleep manually, you must set the screen lock time as you prefer. 5 minutes and above without the lock screen operation, feeling some power.
The machine can also set a password.
Check device information. When there is a new firmware, there will be a reminder at the device information department.

insufficient:1) After dozens of minutes of operation, it will automatically shut down. Wait for tens of seconds after rebooting. However, the goose, Amazon's electronic paper books have been in standby mode (unless the power is low), open the leather case will automatically wake up, a lot easier!
2) At present, the book can only be transmitted through the data line and the TF card. When did you read PM, when did you open emails, public numbers and other functions?
