The contents of all PLC data blocks (DB) are reserved at startup; the contents of the hold timer, counter, and flag registers remain unchanged; the contents of the timer, counter, and flag registers of the non-retentive area are cleared.
Cold start: When the PLC-CPU is restarted, the organization block 08102 is processed first before the main loop OB1 is executed. At the time of startup, the contents of all PLC data blocks (DB) are cleared, and the original set value is input again from the load memory; the contents of all the timers, counters, and flag registers of the CPU are cleared (regardless of the hold area and Non-holding area).
(3) Monitoring Time for setting There are three options in this area:
Module completed completion time ("Finished" message by modules): used to set the "module configuration detection complete" signal response time, when the completion signal is not received beyond this time, the actual hardware configuration is considered to be inconsistent with the STEP7 configuration. The time is set in units of lOOms and the default setting is 650.
Transfer of parameters to modules: Used to set the maximum allowable time for parameters in the CPU to be transmitted to each module. The time setting unit is lOOms and the default setting is 100. For CPUs with a PROFIBUS-DP master interface, this parameter can be used to detect the start of the slave. Similarly, when the parameter transfer has not been completed after the set time, it is considered that the actual hardware configuration does not match the STEP7 configuration.
Hot restart: Used to set the hot start time of the CPU. This parameter can only be set when the hot start mode is selected.
